Smart media management... With Retrieva you can locate an image or document that you need right away, whether it's stored locally on your machine or in some other remote location. Browse through thumbnail previews of your images and other media - Retrieva will even create thumbnails for music files by automatically downloading album artwork from Amazon's enormous online artwork database - or use Retrieva's powerful search facility to pinpoint just the file you need.
Clever categories... Retrieva automatically assigns your media to categories whenever you add your files to the system, making it easier than ever to find and manage your digital assets. Using an intelligent parser, Retrieva creates media categories on the fly based on what kinds of files they are, where they are located, and any naming conventions you've adopted for them. For example, let's say you drop a folder full of folders, each filled with images on to Retrieva. You'll be able to find your images in Retrieva because a category for each of the folder names will have been created and images assigned to these categories automatically. Retrieva doesn't stop here though. Retrieva will notice if you've imported, say, a thousand images called newproduction_home_001.jpg through newproduction_home_999.jpg, and will have silently and swiftly created and assigned categories for newproduction and home too.
